Production of Plastic Components

With injection and injection-compression technologies

LAM SpA manufactures plastic components with traditional injection moulding and the most innovative Injection-Compression technique for special requirements. The latter is used to produce thin parts with high surface quality, high geometric precision, internal tension and product transparency, such as in automotive glazing, optical and lighting applications, and electronic components.

As an alternative to injection molding, LAM SpA also offers thermoforming, which is ideal for small batch production and uses a process of softening plastic sheets or coils, which are then reshaped under air pressure against a mould. Careful study of materials and their performance, flexibility and the ability to respond to each customer’s specific requests are LAM SpA’s strengths in offering state-of-the-art techniques.

Injection

With very short cycle times and low costs for mass production, we can print the widest range of exterior and interior parts even in considerable sizes, such as hatches, bumpers, dashboards and instrument panels.
The high degree of aesthetic finish, makes this technology suitable for any industry.
